If you compare the SC to the regular Levo, the Levo still wins with weight, 40% more range because of the 700wH battery and cost. Not jumping on the band wagon but we all need to recognize that the SL is a different direction for E-bikes and it was not shooting for max power / torque.
The only reason I can think of is that they want you to switch to the Virgin Mobile PayLo or Beyond Talk plans which generate far more revenue than they receive with the Lifeline service. They have made this suggestion many times when I have called. One Customer Care agent even started the process of switching me to the other plan without my consent.
So, all-in-all, payLo phones used to work. With this known migration , that capability has been lost. Whether it’s temporary or permanent is still to be determined. That’s not to say that once the migration is complete that payLo phones will once again work on Assurance.

I found a Samsung ENTRO flip phone on Virgin Mobile closeout online for,,,7 BUCKS! (I thought it was a mis-print) Assurance Wireless changed my number in one phone call and it works flawlessly.
